Vizag engineer released by Nigerian rebels
Sai Srinivas, of Visakhapatnam, who was kidnapped in Nigeria 17 days ago, was released by the kidnappers on Saturday.
Sai spoke to his family in Vizag and informed them that he was safe and that he would be coming back home soon.
Earlier, Sai's parents had met the Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and requested him to take up the issue with the Ministry of External Affairs, but to no avail. After 17 days of captivity, the kidnappers released Sai Srinivas.
