Amaravati will be a world class city: Naidu Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has said that Amaravati capital would be developed as a world class city with the inspiration from students.
The Chief Minister distributed certificates to those students who participated in Transforming Vijayawada campaign.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said Amaravati would be developed as one among top five cities in the world. He praised the initiative of students to campaign on Mana Vijayawada - Mana Rajadhani. He said that students have innovative ideas to develop the capital and they are capable of bringing change in the society. He said everyone should extend cooperation to make the city as poster-free city.
The Chief Minister said that several statues erected in the city without any permission are becoming hurdle for the development of the city. He said people should extend cooperation for removal of such statues to develop the city. He said that he would bring pressure on central government for the development of the state. He said Vijayawada would be developed as a green and blue city. He said start up companies would be set up by providing IT knowledge among students through IT incubation centres.
Minister for Water Resources Devineni Umamaheswara Rao, MP Kesineni Srinivas, Mayor Koneru Sridhar, Collector Babu A, Municipal commissioner G Veera Pandian and others were present.
