AP CM directs officials to speed up survey Vijayawada, Aug 1 (INN): Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has directed the officials to supply the pulse survey forms to people one day before the survey to speed up the survey work. He said that the step would help people to furnish necessary information to officials.
Reviewing the progress of pulse survey programme through a video conference on Monday, the Chief Minister said that the officials should now concentrate on getting complete details of people and compare it with the data available with the departments whether it tallied or not. He said the data of 60 lakh people were collected so far which stands at 12 per cent. He directed the officials not to miss to gather the information of e-KYC data.
Govt IT advisor Satyanarayana said some enumerators are completing the survey of 25 people per day. He said each enumerator is able to complete the survey of ten families.
Krishna pushkaram special officer and civil supplies secretary B Rajasekhar said that he conducted a survey of a house in Vijayawada rural mandal which took 35 minutes. He said by furnishing the proforma to the families prior to survey officials could reduce the time for collecting data.
District collector Babu A said that they are able to overcome the technical problems in pulse survey. He said a separate application was developed to tally the information furnished by people on line. He said virtual machines were set up to collect the data of 8 lakh families per day.
IT secretary PS Pradyumna, civil supplies commissioner G Jayalakshmi, joint collector G Chandrudu, sub-collector G Srujana, Assistant collector Balaji and others were present.
