Uproar in Parliament over SCS to AP Hyderabad, Aug 2 (INN): The Lok Sabha was adjourned twice on Tuesday when members of the Telugu Desam Party created an uproar, demanding special status for Andhra Pradesh.
YSR Congress MPs too joined the protesting MPs and demanded the Centre to accord special status to AP. After a series of adjournments, the Congress and YSR Congress MPs rushed to the well of the House in Lok Sabha and continued their protest.
Opposition leader Mallikarjun Kharge said the Business Advisory Committee of the House should take up the issue raised by Andhra Pradesh members at its meeting slated on Wednesday and decide about a debate to be taken up on the issue in the House soon.
