Steep hike in salaries for SERP staff Hyderabad, Aug 2 (INN): The Telangana Government on Tuesday decided to hike the remuneration of workers of Society for Elimination of Rural Poverty (SERP).
The decision was taken after Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao held a review meeting with Panchayat Raj Minister Jupally Krishna Rao and SERP CEO Pausami Basu and others.
Accordingly, the remuneration of cluster coordinator would be hike from Rs 6,150 to Rs 12,000 while other SERP workers would get a 30% hike of their wages.
Mahatma Gandh NREGA field assistants would get a hike from Rs 6290 to Rs 10,000. While other NREGA staff would get a 20 per cent hike. KCR directed the officials to issue a government order in this regard immediately.
