RTA online services opposed
Hyderabad, Aug 11 (INN): Telangana Auto Drivers' JAC has demanded that the TRS government to exempt the transport vehicles from RTA's online services since the department was unable to carry out different transactions in respect of vehicles within a day as was before.
Addressing the media here on Thursday, JAC convener Mohd Amanullah Khan alleged that ever since RTA online services were launched different RTA jobs like auto fitness test, permit renewal and other services which were done in a day earlier are now taking more time. He also alleged that the Transport department went ahead with online services without considering the difficulties that would arise due to such service. He alleged that the transport authorities took a unilateral decision to introduce Online Services without consulting the stakeholders.
He said that the auto drivers opposed the decision of the government and announced that they would launch an agitation from August 16.
