Row over flexies at Krishna fete site Vijayawada, Aug 11 (INN): The YSR Congress Party has alleged that the TDP was trying to politicize the Krishna Pushkaralu fete by showing excesses towards opposition parties by removing their flexi banners welcoming the pilgrims.
On Thursday, Ibrahimpatnam police removed flexi banners erected by the YSRC leaders welcoming the pilgrims near the fete site. YSRC leaders objected to this and entered into arguments as to how the police could allow TD leaders' flexies and remove those erected by the YSRC. Speaking to media YSRC leaders Jogi Ramesh and Nagireddy alleged that the ruling party was resorting to highhandedness by not allowing the YSRC leaders erected flexi banners. They asserted that they had no political motive and that they only wanted to wish the pilgrims on the occasion of Krishna fete.
