Convince 13 CMs for SCS, says Purandeshwari
Chittoor, Aug 13 (INN): BJP leader and former Union minister Purandeshwari said that AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has to convince chief ministers of 13 states in order to the grant of special category status to Andhra Pradesh.
The BJP leader was speaking at a protest meet organized by journalists demanding special category status to AP. She said that the Centre had sanctioned Rs 4,000 crore from NABARD for Polavaram project this year. She said that AP is yet to submit the report on the funds spent from the Central grants for backward districts in the state.
