Devineni Rajasekhar to join TD
Vijayawada, Aug 30 (INN): In another jolt to the Congress in Andhra Pradesh, party leader Devineni Rajasekhar Nehru is set to join the ruling Telugu Desam.
Rajasekhar met Chief Minister and TDP chief N. Chandrababu Naidu and donned the yellow scarf. He will officially announce his joining the TD on September 15, sources close to Rajasekhar informed. Speaking to the media persons, Mr Rajasekhar said that joining TD was like home-coming.
On Sunday, Rajasekhar met his followers on the issue of his joining the Telugu Desam. He has been keeping a low profile since the 2014 Assembly elections, when he lost contesting on the Congress ticket.
