Kaloji Award for Gorati Venkannna
Hyderabad, Sept 2 (INN): The Telangana Government has approved the name of Gorati Venkanna, People's Poet, for the prestigious 'Sri Kaloji Narayana Rao Award - 2016' along with cash prize of Rs.1,01,116/-.
The State Government had constituted a committee for selection of an eminent personality for the prestigious 'Sri Kaloji Narayana Rao Award - 2016'. The Committee, which met here on August 30, recommended the name of Gorati Venkanna which has been approved by the government.
