CID assures justice to Agri Gold victims
Vijayawada, Sept 3 (INN): Andhra Pradesh CID on Saturday organized an awareness camp to the victims of Agri Gold scam.
Additional DGP of the CID D. Tirumala spoke to the victims and counseled them on the occasion. He said that those who lost their deposits need not worry and assured that they would get justice. He said that as of now properties worth Rs 2,670 crore of the firm were seized. About 19 lakh depositors lost their money in the scam and justice would be done to them soon, the CID officer said.
Agri Gold group companies duped its customers to the extent of Rs 6,380 crore by promising them higher returns or developed plots last year.
