31 selected for Best Teachers' award
Hyderabad, Sept 4 (INN): Telangana government on Sunday selected 31 teachers as best teachers in the state and would honour them on September 8.
About 17 in-service working teachers have been selected for the state awards to the best teachers for the year 2016 and 14 teachers for National Foundation Teacher Welfare-2016 Awards.
The awardees will be felicitated on the occasion of Teachers Day to be celebrated on September 8. The government has decided to celebrate the occasion of September 8 due to Vinayaka Chavithi falling on September 5. Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao will honour the awardees at Ravindra Bharathi.
The winners of the award will be presented with a cash award of Rs. 10,000, a silver medal(gold coated)a citation and a shawl. The names of the 17 teachers selected for State Awards 2016 and 14 teachers for National Foundation Teachers Welfare-2016 awards have been announced on Sunday are as follows:
