AP bandh troubles normal life Vijayawada, Sept 10 (INN): Andhra Pradesh bandh called by opposition parties on Saturday to protest the denial of Special Category Status (SCS) to AP hit the normal life.
Educational institutions, business establishments remained closed as part of the bandh call in the state. Public transport was affected throughout the state as RTC buses were confined to bus depots as activists of YSRCP, Congress and Left parties staged protests in front of the bus depots and stopped buses from coming out of the depots. RTC authorities said that some buses were pressed into service by extending police protection.
