Venkaiah blames Congress for SCS denial
Hyderabad, Sept 11 (INN): Union Minister for Urban Development M. Venkaiah Naidu on Sunday said that there was no chance of the Centre giving Special Category Status to Andhra Pradesh.
Speaking to media persons, the Union Minister said as per the norms of the 14th Finance Commission, Andhra Pradesh cannot be granted the SCS. He blamed the Congress for the mess accusing it of not mentioning the SCS issue anywhere in clear terms in the AP Reorganisation Act.
