TRS government snatching Adivasis land: CPI
Hyderabad, Sept 14 (INN): Activists of CPI and New Democracy held a dharna in front of Telangana Bhawan in New Delhi on Wednesday against the TS government's forest land acquisition.
Activists besieged the Telangana Bhavan and raised anti- TRS government. Representatives of the CPI alleged that the TRS government in the name of protecting forests lands was snatching away the lands belonging to Adivasis in Warnagal and Khammam districts. They demanded the government to stop the harassment of Adivasis immediately and warned of intensifying their protests if the government continues to take the Adivasis lands.
The protesting activists were arrested and taken to Parliament Street Police Station and were released later.
