Heavy rains claim two lives
Hyderabad, Sept 15 (INN): In separate cases, two persons were killed due to rain-related incidents in Hyderabad.
A 50-year-old man was killed when rain water entered his home in Nagamaiahkunta. According to police, the victim, A Narayana, was asleep when water entered his home due to heavy rains on Wednesday night and he died due to drowning.
In another incident, Shaik Ibrahim, 32, of LB Nagar, a security guard, was killed on the spot after he accidentally fell down from the third floor of a private hotel in Ameerpet where he used to work as a security guard. He reportedly went to the third floor of the hotel to check stagnation of rain water and accidentally slipped down. SR Nagar police have registered a case and are investigating.
