Plan to complete AP Legislature building soon
Vijayawada, Sept 15 (INN): AP Minister for Finance and Legislative Affairs Yanamala Ramakrishnudu directed the officials to complete the construction of Legislative Assembly and Legislative Council building complex by December.
The minister on Thursday held a review meeting with the CRDA commissioner, additional commissioner and Assembly and council complex planning officials at the state secretariat in Velagapudi.
The minister discussed with the officials about the security set up for the CM, Speaker and ministers. The minister said that the next Assembly session would commence in either January or February and hence the Assembly and Council building complex should be readied by December end. It was also decided that a high-level review meeting will be held on September 19 to review the works and this would be chaired by Municipal administration minister P Narayana.
