Five tech students drown in Warangal lake
Warangal, Sept 17 (INN): Five engineering students were drowned in Dharmasagar lake in Warangal on Saturday morning.
The incident occurred when the students had gone to the lake for a picnic. The students belonged to a private engineering college in Warangal. The deceased were identified as Shravya Reddy (19), Vinootna (18), Shivasai (19) and Shiva Sai Krishna (20).
Ramya Pratyush, who swam to safety, told the police that they were standing on the banks of the lake when one of them slipped into the water and the others entered the lake to save him.
