Swathi's Murderer Bites Live Wire In Jail; Dead
The sensational murder of 24-year-old Chennai based IT professional Swathi has created sensation few months ago. She was allegedly murdered by one Ram Kumar for rejecting his love proposal. Swathi was hacked to death June 24 while she was waiting to board a train at a platform of Nungambakkam. Ram Kumar was arrested by cops after mammoth manhunt and landed in central jail.
Now it is coming out that Ramkumar, the main accused in the Infosys techie Swathi murder case, committed suicide at the Puzhal Central prison here on Sunday.It is said that he had bitten an electric wire in the jail dispensary, and had died subsequently.
He was immediately taken to the nearby Government Hospital but he was reportedly pronounced brought-dead. At the time of his arrest, Ramkumar had attempted to kill himself by slitting his throat but was saved.
