TRS Govt is farmer friendly: Sunitha
Hyderabad, Sept 19 (INN): The Telangana Rashtra Samithi on Monday said that State Government would soon announce the third phase of agriculture loan waiver.
Speaking at the TRS Legislature Party office, TRS MLA Gongidi Sunita said that the earlier governments neglected the farmers and the farmers had to wait for the scarcity of fertilizers. She came down heavily on TPCC chief Uttam Kumar Reddy saying that the Congress was shedding crocodile tears on farmers' issues now. She reminded that during the Congress rule the farmers had to wait for months to get seeds and pesticides.
The TRS leader said that the KCR government was committed to the welfare of farmers and was providing timely help to the farmers. She said that the farmers are being updated about the weather condition and are being guided accordingly as to which crop they should raise based on the soil conditions. She said that the Opposition leaders should not point fingers at the TRS government saying that the farmers suffered the worst during the Congress rule.
