Erabellli withdraws petition on defections
Hyderabad, Sept 20 (INN): The Supreme Court on Tuesday allowed MLA Errabelli Dayakar Rao to withdraw his petition seeking disqualification of TD MLA who defected to the ruling TRS party.
Dayakar Rao had filed the petition when he was with the TDP. He joined the ruling TRS in February this year.
The Apex Court was to hear the petition filed by Congress MLA Sampat Kumar and Dayakar Rao seeking disqualification of the defected MLAs to the ruling TRS. TD MLA Revanth Reddy also sought to be the party to the petition, which the court refused to do so.
