Demand for Chevella district gains momentum
Ranga Reddy, Sept 22 (INN): The demand for the creation of Chevella district is gaining momentum with the all party leaders taking part in protest that has been intensifying over the past one week.
The bandh call given by the all party entered seventh day on Thursday. Leaders who are on the fast unto death were shifted to hospital after their health deteriorated on Thursday.
The Hyderabad bound RTC services from Parigi and Tandur were hit due to road blocade. Supporters of separate Chevella district orgainsed Vanta-Varpu programme under which they cooked food on the roads and served it to the protestors on the roads.
