KCR wants total control of Hyderabad HYDERABAD: Reiterating his demand for total control over Hyderabad for Telangana state, TRS chief K Chandrashekar Rao called upon people of Telangana for yet another agitation, if any conditions were attached to Hyderabad.
Addressing a gathering at 'Jang Siren' organised by the Telangana Electricity Employees' JAC (TEEJAC) at Mint Compound Chowrasta here on Saturday to demand the powers that be for completing the pending power projects in Telangana, TRS chief said that under no circumstance would they agree or keep silent, if any conditions were attached to Hyderabad.
'It will be the capital of Telangana and if it is conditional it will prove disastrous to the future of Telanganites in Hyderabad,' he said. Rao said there will be no contract employees in Telangana state.
'Contract job means exploitation of work. A contract should be for people like CM and not for an employee. Once Telangana state is formed, all contract employees will be regularised,' he said.
Unveiling his vision for Hyderabad city, Rao said, ''Hyderabad will be a cosmopolitan city, as it was during the time of the Nizams. All were there and all will be here. If Kiran Reddy wants to set up a curry point, he is welcome to do it, if not he can setup a fivestar hotel.'
The TRS chief said Hyderabad bagging ITIR (IT Investment Region) was no one's largesse. He said various aspects and advantages of Hyderabad on all fronts had led to it being the first and final choice of the decision makers.
It will provide 30 lakh to 50 lakh direct and indirect employment and Hyderabad will be another Silicon Valley. KCR said that in Telangana, priority will be given to power sector.
