Kiran orders action against vandals HYDERABAD: In the wake of continuing violent protests in Vizianagaram district, particularly targeting the properties of PCC chief Botcha Satyarayana, chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy directed chief secretary PK Mohanty and incharge DGP B Prasad Rao to take stringent action against the anti-social elements, who are vandalising government and private properties.
The chief minister, who is in Tirumala for the Brahmotsavams, directed the officials to update him on the situation from time to time. Earlier, chief secretary Mohanty reviewed law and order and essential services like RTC, energy, civil supplies etc. with the officials concerned at the Secretariat.
Mohanty wanted DGP B Prasada Rao to ensure that government and private properties were protected during the agitation in Seemandhra region.
