KK demands CM Kiran to step down HYDERABAD: Levelling sedition charges against chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, TRS leader K Kesava Rao has demanded that Kiran step down from the post and appealed to the governor to remove him in case he he does not resign.
Addressing mediapersons here, Kesava Rao said it was the bounden duty of the state government to ensure maintenance of essential services.
'When they fail to enforce laws like ESMA in letter and spirit, it amounts to sedition. The chief minister was supporting one region and acting against the interests of another, Rao said and added that the allegations of former DGP Dinesh Reddy were of serious nature and hence Kiran Reddy had no moral right to continue in his post.
