Tara Chowdary creates flutter in Vinukonda Guntur: Tara Chowdary who recently hit the headlines in a case involving trafficking of women resorted to a sit-in on the Vinukonda main road for one hour in pouring rain, leading to vehicles being stranded up to a length of one km.
The provocation for her bizarre act was stopping of her vehicle (Scorpio) by the police near the SC Colony on Narasaraopet Road for checking. This follows a police complaint lodged on September 30 by her brother-in-law Adusumilli Rama Rao stating that his Scorpio was missing.
During the check, when the police asked Tara Chowdary to show papers relating to the vehicle, she got enraged and accused the police of colluding with Rao.
She then claimed that he had attacked her and committed theft of Rs 2 lakh and 15 tolas of gold ornaments. The Traffic Police then moved the Scorpio to the Vinukonda Police Station. Tara told media persons there, that Rao had kidnapped her brother and that the police were refusing to receive her complaint.
She warned that none would be spared if any harm was caused to her brother. Meanwhile, adding an interesting twist to the case, Tara's brother telephoned, claiming that some unknown persons had hospitalised him following an attack. She visited the hospital.
