According to a press note from DCP the doctors have said that he requires constant monitoring and it was not possible at the place of Deeksha site.
The doctors report said that they need to monitor the heart beat, functioning of lungs, kidney, electrolyte and keytones etc and this requires availability of equipment which was not available at A P Bhavan where Naidu has been on fast since October 7.
They also said that Naidu's condition had deteriorated and he needs to be hospitalized. Accordingly Room No 6 (VIP room) in Ramamanohar Lohia Hospital has been kept ready for him.
It may be mentioned here that the AP Bhavan officials had approached the Delhi High Court seeking eviction of Naidu from the premises on the grounds that no political activity was permissible from the premises of the guest house.
Even the Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde had remarked that he had never seen any former Chief Minister holding fast at a state guest house.
