CPM baffled by Jagan's Modi praise HYDERABAD: The CPM, with whom YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is trying to build bridges of understanding, says it does not understand why the Kadapa MP had called Modi a good administrator or why his mother Vijayalakhsmi met BJP president in Delhi.
'I do not know why they are meeting BJP leaders and seeking their support. I do not know if YSRC or for that matter N Chandrababu Naidu want to have an electoral understanding with the BJP.
But what I can say is that if any of them joins hands with the saffron party, there could no bigger tragedy,' CPM state secretary BV Raghavulu said.
Speaking to mediapersons, he said it was baffling to see the way secular parties were acting vis-a-vis the BJP. 'They may have something in their heart, but are saying something else for political gain,' Raghavulu said.
