Five killed in a road mishap near Rajahmundry HYDERABAD: Five people were killed and four injured when a multi-utility vehicle collided with a parked truck near Rajahmundry in East Godavari district early Tuesday, police said.
The accident took place at Bommuru near Rajahmundry when a Tavera MUV hit a parked truck on the national highway. The injured were admitted to a nearby hospital, where the condition of one of them is stated to be critical.
According to police, the mishap occurred when nine people from Visakhapatnam were on their way to Vijayawada for a visit to the Kanka Durga temple.
