OU JAC opposes YSRCP meet Hyderabad: Finding fault with the proposed meeting called by YSR Congress Party, members of Osmania University Students Joint Action Committee (OU JAC) said that they would vehemently oppose any such move since YSRCP was opposed to bifurcation.
Lashing out at YSRCP president YS Jaganmohan Reddy, OU JAC spokesperson Manne Krishank said that the meeting was aimed at criticising both Telangana students and protagonists.
'Participants of the Save Andhra Pradhesh meeting, which was held by APNGOs at Lal Bahadur Stadium, had witnessed scenes where students and Telangana activists were beaten up,' he said.
Citing Central Zone DCP Kamalasan Reddy's remarks that claimed anti-social elements would create law and order problems thus leading to occurrence of untoward incidents in the city, Krishank opined that the meeting would further increase enmity between two regions.
