CBI Court issues NBW against ex-GM of APIIC Hyderabad, Oct 17 (INN): The CBI Special court on Thursday issued a non-bailable warrant against Y Vijaya Lakshmi Prasad, the former General Manager of APIIC, in connection with the Disproportionate Assets case of Kadapa MP Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Lakshmi Prasad, along with former APIIC MD BP Acharya, is accused of signing deals detrimental to the financial health of the APIIC under the influence of Jagan Mohan Reddy.
A non-bailable warrant has been issued against him following his failure to appear by the court in the case investigated by the Central Bureau of Investigation.
Meanwhile, former minister P Sabitha Indira Reddy, industrialist Nimmagadda Prasad, Jagathi Publications vice-chairman Vijay Sai Reddy and other accused appeared before the CBI Court on Thursday. The court has adjourned the next hearing in the Jagan's DA case, Emaar scam and Obulapuram Mining Company's illegal iron ore mining case to October 31.
