No alliance with TDP: BJP Hyderabad: State BJP president G Kishan Reddy ruled out any alliance with Telugu Desam Party in the State and added that it was an attempt by TDP leaders to prevent exodus of their leaders.
Kishan Reddy said that BJP would never have alliance with TDP and there were no talks even for a minute at any level in the party. 'A few influential people who want to save their party leaders' exodus are spreading these rumours,' he said.
He said that even at the 'Alai Balai' programme of Bandaru Dattatraya, BJP leader Nagam Janardhan Reddy made it clear that there would be no alliance with the TDP.
Replying to a question, the BJP president said that his party would send only one view on the 12 terms of reference to the Group of Ministers. 'We will consult with all the regions and send only one view to the central leadership, who will forward it to the GoM,' he said.
Kishan Reddy said that the Venkaiah Naidu was never opposed to the bifurcation of the state. 'Even he participated in the Telangana movement and rallies,' he added. 'However, as a national party we want the Centre to take Seemandhra people into confidence,' he said.
