State reshuffles 44 IPS officers; 11 SPs changed
Hyderabad, Oct 27 (INN): In a massive reshuffle, the Andhra Pradesh Government on Sunday transferred as many as 44 IPS officers.
The transferred officials and their latest position are as follows: S Gopal Reddy (Controller & Legal Metrology); AR Anuradha (P&L); Umesh Sharraf (Personnel); VV Srinivasa Rao, promoted to the rank of IGP and posted as IGP (Procurement & Budgeting); Jitender (V&E Dept); Devendra Singh Chauhan (Joint CP - L&O Cyberabad); G Surya Prakasa Rao (Director - Enforcement in Prohibition & Excise); M Shiva Prasad (Jt.CP - CAR Hqrs); Y Gangadhar (DIG - V&E Dept); A Sunder Kumar Das (DIGP - CID), E Damodar (Joint Director - APPA) and T Yoganand (DIGP - APSP Battalions).
Due to the mass transfers, as many as 11 districts got new Superintendants of Police. They include PHD Ramakrishna (SP Chittoor); M Ramesh (SP Anantapur); S Hari Krishna (SP West Godavari); V Siva Kumar (SP Karimnagar); GVG Ashok Kumar (SP Kadapa); K Ramesh Naidu (SP Kurnool); Gopinath Jatti (SP Guntur Urban), LKV Ranga Rao (SP Warangal - Rural); Dr. Tarun Joshi (SP Nizamabad); Tafseer Iqubal (SP Vizianagaram) and Gajarao Bhupal (SP Adilabad).
