Kiran camp losing ministers Hyderabad: The Centre appears to be moving at a fast pace to ensure that all the hurdles in the process of State's bifurcation are cleared, even if it means change of guard in the State.
This feeling was expressed by several senior party leaders, including JC Diwakar Reddy. Even some of the ministers, who have decided to fall in line with the high command, say that there were clear indications from the Centre that it would prefer to replace the Chief Minister if he continues to defy the party line on the issue of State's bifurcation.
Amidst the speculations, the Finance Minister Anam Ramnarayana Reddy called on the Governor ESL Narsimhan on Monday at Raj Bhavan. This meeting assumes significance as the Governor is said to have submitted a report to the Centre on the prevailing political situation in the State.
It may be mentioned here that Anam had recently held a meeting with 11 ministers from the Seemandhra region and succeeded in weaning them away from Kiran's camp.
