YSRCP-Congress nexus might be correct: Anam Nellore: Nellore rural MLA Anam Vivekananda Reddy today said the comment of former minister and senior Congress leader J C Diwakar Reddy that YSRCP and the Congress party had a tacit understanding might be a fact.
Speaking to media at a school function here, Reddy said the doubt that YSRC and Congress have colluded is haunting the Congress leaders and workers. He further stated that they should respect the comments of a senior party leader like Diwakar Reddy.
If the State was divided, the chances of Naxalites surfacing are more. The Naxalites, were routed out in the state. He said the task force set up to look into security aspects should consider this aspect.
He said bifurcation should not lead to making Hyderabad another Kashmir, and the process of division should be stopped. Reacting on the comments of TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao and Congress MP V Hanumantha Rao that they would protect the Seemandhra people living in Hyderabad and Telangana, Reddy said Hyderabad and Telangana are not their own properties.
'We are capable of protecting ourselves', he asserted.Nellore city MLA Sridhar Krishna Reddy and other Congress leaders also attended the function.
