State division not right, says Kavuri Eluru : Union Textiles Minister Kavuri Sambasiva Rao has said that some Seemandhra Congress leaders agreed for the division of the State with an eye on Chief Minister's post.
Speaking to the media here, Kavuri alleged that some leaders were telling cock and bull stories to the Congress high command and made it to take a decision on the division of the State. He said that both the regions would be affected if the State was divided.
He said that he always brought to the notice of the party high command in every Cabinet meeting that the decision on division was not correct on the part of the centre.
He said that he didn't know about the Chief Minister addressing letters to the Prime Minister and President of the nation. He said there was no truth in the statement of senior Congress leader JC Diwakar Reddy that the Congress party has colluded with YSRCP.
Stating that he stuck to the united Andhra Pradesh state, Kavuri said the government would extend compensation to the farmers who lost their crops due to the floods. He said that he will speak on this issue with the Chief
Minister.
