JC brothers all set to join TDP
Hyderabad: Speculation gathered momentum in political circles about the senior Congress leader and MLA JC Diwakar Reddy and his brother Prabhakar Reddy joining the Telugu Desam Party shortly.
According to sources JC brothers had already entered into a pact with the TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu, and the brothers were preparing the ground to join that party.
It is said that Diwakar Reddy was raising a tirade against the Congress Party bosses in the recent past, only with the objective of switching over to the TDP. There is talk that JC brothers might join the TDP in the first week of November itself.
Congress party circles feel that there was a match-fixing between Diwakar Reddy and Chandrababu Naidu nearly two years ago.
As part of the pact, the TDP president is stated to have conceded the demand of JC Diwakar Reddy that the party tickets be given to him and his supporters for the Anantapur Lok Sabha seat and two Assembly segments in that constituency.
