Volvo bus driver, cleaner escaped
Mahbubnagar: When the Hyderabad-Bangalore bus hit a median near Kothakota early this morning, the bus driver, cleaner and four others escaped with minor burns.
However, the other passengers were burnt alive as the flames engulfed the bus even before they could realise what was happening.
Reports said, there were 49 passengers on board, a few of whom were techies travelling to Hyderabad for Diwali. The injured were rushed to a nearby government hospital for treatment.
