Sachin, Yuvi in shape for big match Bangalore, February 26: With just hours to go for the big game against England, the Indian team are on high spirits, ironing out their shoulder injuries are the only concern. On Thursday it was Yuvraj Singh who was forced out of the training session after being hit by Shanthakumaran Sreesanth's bouncer. The middle order batsman showed no signs of discomfort on his right wrist on Friday.
Earlier Sachin Tendulkar's knee problem and Ashsih Nehra's back spasm had the Indian team think-tank in a bit of bother. But the duo's recovery has added an extra dose of confidence. The Master Blaster batted for long hours, first against the spinners and later against the pacers. Nehra, who opted for light session on Thursday, was in full flow on Friday.
The lanky pacer, who bowled with short run-up previous day was back at his usual mark bowling a few overs in breaks. Kerala pacer Sreesanth, known for his swing, was given special attention by bowling Coach Eric Simons. He was made to bowl at the open wickets.
