We are proud of our record at home: Dhoni
CHENNAI: After winning their seventh consecutive match at the Chepauk, skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni stated that this is a record that the team is 'proud of.'
'Our record at home is something that we can be really proud of. It is a big achievement for us but it does not mean that we can relax a bit,' the skipper said at the post-match presentation ceremony.
Dhoni feels that it was good that his team came up trumps in some of the tougher games. 'You don't want to win all games easily. You want some tough games that test your middle-order, lower middle-order and your bowlers. I think we are now ready for the big games.
'With 150-odd runs, we were looking at not giving many runs in the first six overs. The game was even till the 10th over of the Kochi innings.'
