BSNL to offer 3G services free of cost in AP Hyderabad: The BSNL-Andhra Pradesh circle will offer 3G services at no extra cost to the existing and new BSNL customers in 29 major cities, towns across the state.
With an increasing customer base of 1.54 lakh 3G connections in the state, the BSNL-AP circle has decided to extend its services and launched 'Vennela-Match plan'. The new plan is available under both 2G and 3G services with effect from April 14.
Under the new plan, the basic SIM will be provided for Rs 20 and the first recharge can be done for Rs 28 for 2G and Rs 24 for 3G services with full talktime. Customers can call the mobile number of any network at 1 paise/sec for local and STD calls.
The BSNL offers a slew of benefits to its customers including family and friends, night calling facility and also STV facility.
The video call charges are at 70 paise/minute for any local network and Rs 1/minute for any STD network. The BSNL also announced reduction in cost on 3G data vouchers and introduction of new 3G data vouchers.
'There is a good response for our 'Match' plan introduced earlier. BSNL expects that the customers will benefit substantially from the new plan and will be able to make maximum benefits from the BSNL service,' said BSNL-AP circle chief general manager Rajeev Agarwal.
