TTD pays Musical Tribute to Tyagaraja
Tirupati: On the occasion of 168th Aradhanotsavam of Saint musician Sri Tyagaraja Swamy, the temple administration of TTD has paid a grand tribute to the divine composer by organising Carnatic musical fiesta from morning to night at Mahati auditorium on Saturday in Tirupati.

The temple city donned a new look on Saturday as the denizens were enthralled by the special program giving a fresh experience to them as they were in Tiruvayur of Tamilnadu where Tyagaraja Aradhanotsavams are usually conducted.
The day began with the procession of the two and a half feet Panchaloha idol of Saint Tyagaraja Swamy from Sri Venkateswara College of Dance and Music covering the streets of Prakasam road, Gandhi Road and Sri Kodanda Rama Swamy temple as "Shobha Yatra" and finally reached Mahati Auditorium along with the idols of Sita Laxmana Anjaneya Sametha Sri Kodanda Rama Swamy. Later Asthanam and Puja were performed.
After the ceremonious start, 108 artistes rendered Sri Tyagaraja Pancharatna Kritis including Jagadananda karakul in Nata Ragam, Dudukugala Nannedora in Gaula, Sadinchene Manasa in Arabhi, Kanakana Ruchira in Varali and Endaro Mahanubhavulu in Sriragam much to the delight of the musical lovers who thronged the auditorium.
In the evening, Carnatic music stalwarts including Malladi Suribabu and DV Mohan Krishna performed their vocal concert which mesmerised the denizens.
TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao, JEO Tirupati P Bhaskar, Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishad Special Officer Raghunath, Music College Principal YVS Padmavathi and others were also present.
