Vangaveeti Day 1 Collections
Ram Gopal Varma's most awaited film 'Vangaveeti' hit the screens yesterday. The movie received a mixed response from the critics and the general public. But the mixed talk didn't have any effect on movie's first day collections.
It minted 20.3 lakhs in Krishna region, East Godavari - 24.7 lakhs and Guntur - 25 lakhs. The Total first day collections at Ap/Tg box office is close to 2.7crores share. Thus the movie has a good opening on its opening day and even Ram Gopal Varma confirms the same via his twitter. He said "The tremendous opening and success of Vangaveeti proves that a film made with sincerity can be as big as a big star cast film".
On the other hand, he gives entire credit to the lead cast who performed brilliantly in the movie. He said "Vangaveeti's success primarily belongs to the fantastic performances delivered by Sandy, Vamsi, Sritej, Kautilya and Naina..I thank all of them". However, entire credit goes to Ram Gopal Varma and the movie team because without Ram Gopal Varma's superb publicity strategy, the film may not receive those good collections on the first day. Anyhow, let's wait and see how it is going to perform in its coming days at the box office.
