Baahubali 2 AP/TS Pre-Release Business
Baahubali 2 is one of the most awaited films all over the India after the super success of its first part. The movie is doing a superb pre-release business and creating a sensation.
The Ap/Tg Theatrical rights were sold for Rs 130 crores which is All-Time record business in this region. Even though the first part was sold for Rs 66 crores, the makers sold the second part for almost double amount than first one. The first part minted Rs 113 crores in Ap/Tg and hence the second part needs to do extremely well at the box office to recover investment for its buyers.
On the other hand, the movie also did a record-breaking business of Rs 47 crores in Tamilnadu and the Tamil rights were acquired by Sri Green productions. Overall, the movie's worldwide Theatrical rights along with satellite, audio and other rights were expected to cross Rs 400 crores. Finally, we need to wait and see how far the movie lives up to the expectations once after its release on April 28th, 2017.
