Shankar-Vikram combo film 'I Manoharudu' is doing extraordinary pre-release business. The movie produced by Aascar Ravichandran on a budget of nearly 100 Crores is the most awaited project of this year.
It is known that Producer NV Prasad of Mega Super Good Films acquired the Telugu version rights of Vikram-Shankar's magnumopus 'I' for a record Rs 30 crore. Even the pre-release of this romantic thriller is setting new records.
According to reports the producers of Telugu version started selling the distribution rights area wise and 'I' Krishna district rights have been sold out for a whooping Rs 2.52 crore. This was a record for any dubbing film in this area and till now only 6 films have managed to over Rs 2.52 crore in Krishna district.
'Robot' collected a share of Rs. 2.2 Crores in this territory which was a highest for any dubbing movie. Even 'Race Gurram' which happens to be the biggest grosser of 2014 didn't even collected a share of Rs 2.52 crore in its full run.
This shows the craze that was surrounded by I. NV Prasad is likely to make table profits with 'I' which will be releasing by the end of November.
