Loukyam is a true blockbuster
Gopichand's Loukyam is ending as one of the biggest blockbusters of 2014. The movie opened to decent collections, however heavy raise is seen from first weekend with positive mouth talk.
'Loukyam" hit screens on 26 September amid good response from the critics who termed the film as a fun-filled entertainer. Gopichand, who is known for doing action oriented films, has tried his hands at comedy in "Loukaym." Despite the release of Mahesh Babu's "Aagadu," "Loukyam" managed to perform decently at the box office.
The Sriwass directorial collected Rs 20.98 Crores for full run worldwide. Though this is not an industry hit, we can respect it as a true blockbuster considering the low budget and high revenue generated.
