Mukunda set for Pongal release
Varun Tej is foraying into Tollywood with a family entertainer Mukunda. Srikanth Addala, who carved a niche for dealing in family subjects with 'lan, is the director of the film. The shooting has been wrapped up and the unit has announced that the film is set for Pongal release, thus locking horns with NTR Jr's new film and Pawan 'Venkatesh starrer Gopala Gopala.
MukundaPooja Hegde is pairing opposite Varun Tej in this film. The audio of the film scored by Mickey J Meyer, will be launched on December 14. Shot in exotic locales of Coastal Andhra, Varun Tej plays the role of a village guy who struggles to bring a change in his village. Produced jointly by Tagore Madhu and Nallamalapu Bujji, the film features Prakash Raj, Rao Ramesh, Nassar, Raghu Babu and Brahmanandam in crucial roles.
