Lingaa music disappoints The music of Lingaa, the most awaited film of Rajinikanth was released two days back. The actor is making a comeback of sorts with this film that is tipped to be an action entertainer.
There are huge expectations from this film as Rajini has teamed up with KS Ravi Kumar who earlier delivered a blockbuster hit Narasimha. Contrary to the expectations, although the music of Lingaa is scored by Oscar Award winner AR Rahman, it failed to create buzz with neither, the music or its lyrics.
The songs appear to be situational and are quite ordinary considering the benchmark Rahman has already created with his previous work. Fans of Rajinikanth are criticising the makers, especially Rahman for coming up with a routine and sub-standard album for a film that has the audience waiting for this movie with bated breath.
On the other side, the same Rahman's album for I, directed by Shankar is creating ripples and has already become a rage. Rajinikanth is playing a dual role as father and son, while Jagapathi Babu will be seen as the antagonist. Also starring Anushka and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead roles, Lingaa is aimed for December 12 release.
