Nagarjuna's new film launched Akkineni Nagarjuna's new film tentatively titled Soggade Chinni Nayana was launched in a low-profile ceremony in Hyderabad on Wednesday. The film will see Nagarjuna in a dual role as grandfather and grandson.
'The film was formally launched in Annapurna Studios today with a puja. Regular shooting will start soon in Rajahmundry,' confirms a source from the unit.
Directed by debutant Kalyan Krishna, the film features Ramya Krishna and Lavanya Tripathi as the leading ladies. Nagarjuna is also producing the film on Annapurna Studios banner and the makers are planning to release the film in summer, 2015.
Meanwhile, Nagarjuna is soon expected to start with the second season of his TV show Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu, the Telugu version of Kaun Banega Crorepati. He also has a yet-to-be-titled Telugu-Tamil bilingual with actor Karthi in the pipeline. Vamsi Paidipally is helming this project, while Prasad V Potluri is producing it.
