Who is Tammareddy targetting? Eminent producer and director Thammareddy Bharadwaja is known for his straight forward nature. He doesn't shy away from voicing out his opinion on anything , especially issues of film industry. Tammareddy, known for his stunning comments, is at it again.
The veteran filmmaker comes up with hard hitting comments on Memu Saitham event that was held recently. Talking about the way Memu Saitam was conducted Thammareddy said that the event could have been lot more successful with much more cooperation and involvement from everyone. He said many heroes/heroines from the industry was not co-operative for supporting the cause.
He said that singer S P Balasubramaniam had raised Rs 1 crore performing for an one-hour show in Chittoor. "But when the entire industry got united and came on one platform, we were not able to raise more than Rs 8 crore. Heroes should come voluntarily for such functions. But now the situation is such that we have to request them and run after them."
He also said: "Telugu artistes find time to attend Filmfare award function, but have no time for Nandi Award functions and events like this. They don't have time to spare to take part in such charity programs, whereas they should take initiative to conduct such programs'.
He also criticized that Memu Saitham looked like the stars performing for a pre-planned event designed by a TV channel rather than an event done by the industry! The comments of the film maker has caused a sensation and the question is who Tammareddy Bharadwaja is targeting.
